As a member of one of the first cohorts of Peace Corps Volunteers in 1966, Marian Rivman boarded a bus to JFK from the Bronx, bound for the Philippines. Her 2 years there changed her understanding of the world and relationships and she vowed to live her life from a vantage point of adventure and joy.
She managed a Puerto Rican rock band on the Lower East Side, was an account executive at a large advertising agency, and for the last 30 years, has been a public relations consultant with an eclectic client roster that included the trade association for the scuba diving industry, Fortune 500 companies, bold-faced names and UN agencies, programs and world conferences
